rules & regulations

Welcome to Popkum Motor Park!
We hope that whether you are a first timer, a long time member, or a respected racer, that you take a moment to take the time to familiarize yourselves with our rules, regulations and all signage around the park that we have spent our valuable time and money on. Please respect our employees as well, even if you feel that you know better, they are following given rules and any rudeness or disobedience will not be tolerated. Our rules have been established after many years and many incidents leading up to making them. We hope your stay is a safe and welcome experience.
Thank you, Popkum Management.

Your fun and safety are our priority. Make sure to read our regulations before your visit:

  • All riders must wear helmets and the minimum required protective riding gear at all times while on their motorcycle
(this includes in the pits and to/from the wash bay):
    • For MX and enduro/trail riders, this includes DOT approved full-face helmet, goggles, long pants, long sleeve jerseys, gloves and MX boots with proper ankle support

    • Popkum recommends that every rider wear a chest protector, neck brace, elbow and knee pads, full face helmet, MX boots & goggles
  • Everyone must sign a waiver. Once you register and sign it, you’ll get a wristband
    • Wrist bands must be worn ON YOUR WRIST at all times in the park by everyone – this includes riders, spectators, visitors, photographers, parents, lesson-takers
    • Wristbands go ON YOUR WRIST, not on your helmet, not on your bike, and not in your truck. They are called WRISTbands for a reason
    • If caught operating a motor vehicle without a rider wrist band, your membership will be suspended and you will receive a $500 fine
  • Signage, flags & staff directions must be followed at all times
  • Spectators and visitors can watch from designated spectator areas (i.e. bleachers). If you are not sure where to watch, please ask staff
    • You must register in the track office and wear the (free) visitor wristband
  • NO LITTERING
    • If you are caught littering, or we find your wristband on the ground instead of in a garbage, there will be a $25 littering fine that must be paid before you can ride again. No exceptions. Don’t litter, it’s rude and we have better things to do that pick up your trash.
