With bragging rights all their own, Popkum is excited to partner with GA Checkpoint Yamaha to bring some blue to the rental line up…and 2-strokes too! From the littlest PW50 to the YZ performance bikes, Yamaha has arrived for you try before you buy at Popkum Motor Park.

Trail Bikes

The Yamaha TTR and Honda CRF-F lineups have a trail bike for everyone in the family. There is no better way for new riders to build confidence than on a lightweight, durable, user friendly, and appropriately sized trail bike. The size of bike you choose is based on rider size, you need to be able to touch the ground to ride safely! Designed with new riders in mind, they offer smooth, predictable power delivery in any size. Our semi-automatic bikes are 50cc or 110cc, and clutch bikes are from 125cc to 250cc.

This whole line of bikes is 4-stroke and air-cooled. Experienced riders love the strong performance, while learning riders love the ease-of-use and excellent handling. Whatever your skill level, there’s a trail bike designed just for you.

Fully Automatic Model suitable for the tiniest riders up to 3’5” tall.

  • Yamaha PW50 – 19” seat height and 90lbs

The PW50 is the smallest bike in the rental fleet. With a seat height inches lower than the other 50cc models the PW has a handling-enhancing low center of gravity. The fully automatic single speed transmission, and simple throttle and brake controls make this little 2-stroke the first step for the tiniest entry-level riders. The park does not supply training wheels, so all PW riders
must know how to ride a peddle bike with no training wheels or how to coast on a Strider bike before renting.

  • Yamaha TTR110– 26” seat height and 159lbs

This feature introduces the beginner to the basics of shifting without the complication of a clutch. The 50cc bikes are equipped with an adjustable throttle stop screw allowing adults to control top speed for safety by limiting how far the throttle can be opened. The CRF-F 50 is a kick-start only bike, so your child will learn the basics right from the get-go, while the other models are equipped with a convenient electric start with a kick-start back up. The bikes incorporate safety covers at heat points and carrying handles for easy pick ups if the rider falls over. Extra safety features include exhaust muffler covers, handle bar pads, folding/cleated foot pegs for grip even in mud, and an extra quiet muffler. These 4-stroke machines produces smooth, reliable, novice-friendly power to ease new riders up the learning curve.

The motocross-style seat on these bikes is low, comfortable, and allows for full rider movement essential for building and mastering your riding skills. Easy push button start or manual kick start for back up. They have extra wide, cleated, folding, self-cleaning foot pegs and brake pedals for secure footing. They come with safety features such as heat guards for the mufflers, handle bar pads, and more.
