If you are visiting us for your first time riding, you will spend most of your visit in the Learn To Ride Training Compound. The training compound is a big open flat area built specifically to provide new riders a safe and comfortable place for their first riding experience.
When we first found the bus, it was in an bit of an undesirable condition. Lost amongst the other forgotten things in a yard near by. Retired from duty in near by Hope, we decided that this particular bus deserved a new lease on life….
After some digging, and some cutting…and some cleaning……. We present to you, the Learn To Ride classroom!
This is where you will learn the very basic fundamentals necessary before you ride, like what and where your controls are. Don’t get too comfortable in that bus, once you know the parts of the bike, it’s time to ride!
While riders are busy doing their thing around the training area, the school bus is a perfect place for parents and spectators to watch what’s being learned, or, a nice place to get out of the elements if conditions are not ideal (lessons run rain or shine).
This is not the only school bus located within the park! Once you are past the basics, you may want to set your sights on the other bus located in the EnduroX park. That one is set up for the hard enduro types… yup, you guessed it, probably the only place you’ll get the chance to ride up and over a school bus!
