1 . Scan the QR code and follow the link to the SpeedWaiver website
2. Click “I am signing on behalf of a minor”
– Enter the minor participant’s name, phone number & DOB
* If the minor does not have a phone number, send their waiver link to a parental phone number
3. Enter the name, phone number, & relationship for EACH of the legal parental guardians for the minor.
– Click “I confirm that I am an adult of legal age and agree to the SpeedWaiver Privacy Policy”
– Click “Send Waiver Links” button
** Both parents do not need to be together, they will each be texted a link to sign on behalf of the minor.
*** If you are the sole guardian of the minor participant, Click “I represent that I have sole legal custody or am sole guardian” and the 2nd parental signature is not required.
You will receive a Text with a link to the online waiver for EACH signing party.
Read the text carefully!
4. Open the link that was texted to you for the minor participant to sign for themselves
– Click “I consent to using an electronic signature to …”
– Click “Next” button
5. Allow access to your camera
– Take a photo of the minor participant
– Click “Next” button
6. Read the waiver & scroll to the bottom
– Have the minor participant sign for themselves
– Click “Next” button
– This step happens TWICE
The MINOR must provide THEIR OWN PHOTO & SIGNATURE.
The minor’s waiver will be “incomplete” until BOTH parents have signed on their behalf.
7. Open the link that was texted to you for each parent to sign for the minor participant
– Click “I consent to using an electronic signature to …”
– Click “Next” button
8. Allow access to your camera
– Take a photo of yourself (parent guardian)
– Click “Next” button
9. Read the waiver & scroll to the bottom
– Sign your name (parent guardian to match photo)
– Click “Next” button
– This step happens TWICE
EACH Parent will receive a link to sign the online waiver on behalf of the minor participant.
EACH parent must provide THEIR OWN PHOTO & SIGNATURE giving the minor permission to participate.
